KZN floods: Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda warns of arrests after residents charge donations are being stolen

Residents from the flood-ravaged area of Molweni, KwaZulu-Natal, has cried foul, accusing local ward committees in the area of favouritism and theft of flood relief items meant for flood victims.

Venting their frustrations while eThekwini Mayor Mxolisi Kaunda was on a visit, locals, who have been housed in the KwaDinabakubo Community Hall for well over a month, expressed their frustration that state and sponsored flood relief was not reaching them.
