Minister of Justice and Correctional Services Ronald Lamola has slammed a defamation lawsuit brought against him by the Radical Economic Transformation (RET) Zuma Support Group, saying the application is without merit, and should be dismissed.  

The group which is led by Umkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans (MKMVA) spokesperson Carl Niehaus, filed the lawsuit in the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg in March 2020.
