EFF leader Julius Malema has condemned the actions of his ground forces which led to a public hearing on amending Section 25 to allow land expropriation without compensation being abandoned in Polokwane on Sunday, calling it irresponsible and anarchist.

The ANC caucus has also condemned the "shameful conduct" of the EFF supporters.

The event was scheduled to start at 11:00, but the leader of the committee's delegation to Limpopo, ANC MP Bongani Bongo had to postpone it to 14:00 after members of the ANC and EFF descended in large numbers and stormed the Jack Botes Hall. This contravened Covid-19 protocols.
