'Ludicrous', 'feeble' and 'dishonest': Why commission says Zuma's case for contempt rescission must fail

The Zondo Commission says Jacob Zuma's dishonest attacks on the Constitutional Court make it clear he is beyond judicial redemption and should not be allowed to challenge the contempt ruling and 15-month sentence the apex court imposed on him. 

Zuma continues to insist the ConCourt has detained him without trial - an accusation steeped in his oft-repeated comparison of the country's highest court to the apartheid state, which used detention without trial to unlawfully imprison thousands of activists.

In heads of argument filed at the apex court on Friday, the commission again dismissed this claim as manifestly untrue:
