Man dies after being hit by a train in Gauteng

Johannesburg – A man, believed to be in his 20s, was killed on Friday afternoon after he was hit by a train, 4km from the N12 Etwatwa turn-off in Putfontein, Gauteng paramedics said.  

According to ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring, paramedics found the body of the man lying on the tracks.

Unfortunately, he had already succumbed to his multiple and fatal injuries. He was declared dead at the scene.
