The 53-year-old man, who was advocate Paul Kennedy's co-accused in an alleged child sex ring case, has been identified as the alleged perpetrator in more criminal cases involving minors, including the alleged rape of a 14-year-old boy.
The accused, who cannot be named until he has plead to the charges, appeared in the Gauteng High Court in Johannesburg on Monday.
The man was initially charged, alongside Kennedy, in a case involving more than 700 counts of child pornography, sexual assault, human trafficking, sexual grooming of a minor, and rape.
