MPs from across the political spectrum are concerned about the Ingonyama Trust after another qualified audit finding and the Ingonyama Trust Board's (ITB) apparent reluctance to subject itself to oversight.

Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development Minister Thoko Didiza shares this concern and has suggested that the relevant legislation is due for an update to strengthen the minister's hand in exercising oversight over the ITB.
