Nafiz Modack, mom and brother face new charges in day of dashes between courts

Specialist police officers bristling with guns were in place, everybody who entered the Blue Downs Regional Court for the murder case against Nafiz Modack had already been body searched, all the accused waited in the dock and the investigating officers were ready. 

They were due to hear whether the State's information on voice notes, video and photographs retrieved from devices during the arrests would be struck from the bail application record.

All that was missing was electricity.
