A pupil has been denied his National Senior Certificate 2022 results statement because of an outstanding R1 500 bill owed to the no-fee paying school he attended.
The Solomon Mahlangu High School in Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape charged parents R1 500 for extra classes in preparation for the school-leaving examinations.
The school, however, ranks as a no-fee school since schools in the country are divided into five categories, known as quintiles.
