The EFF has set out to challenge the constitutionality of the Powers, Privileges and Immunities of Parliaments and Provincial Legislatures Act, but this won't stop the national legislature from sanctioning its members who tried to storm the podium while Public Enterprises Minister Pravin Gordhan delivered a speech.

This, according to advocate Ncumisa Mayosi, the initiator, who led the charge against the EFF MPs who, in 2019, disrupted Gordhan's Budget speech by storming the podium that led to complete chaos and a delay in proceedings.
