Ace Magashule.
Elizabeth Sejake, Rapport

When Ace Magashule appears before court on Friday, he will, in all likelihood, still be the secretary-general of the ANC.

This is as the ANC's national executive committee (NEC) has given the party's top six leaders a month to deal with matter as the party is one step closer on deciding Magashule's fate by adopting guidelines governing its step-aside policy.

The NEC decided it will have a month to finalise discussions around the guidelines before it has to immediately implement them.
