The owner of Hallows Farm, outside East London, where a pit bull mauled an infant to death on Wednesday afternoon, has banned anyone from owning the breed on his property following the tragic incident.

The attack on one-year-old Reuben Roux horrified the close-knit community of about 20 families staying on Rod Young's farm in Gonubie, north-east of East London.
