Following its voter registration drive at the weekend, the Electoral Commission of SA (IEC) is set to dominate the political scene this week.

Over the last few weeks, the IEC has been in and out of the Constitutional Court to defend its decisions regarding the upcoming municipal elections.

The DA challenged the IEC's decision to reopen the candidate registration process for political parties, arguing that the move favoured the ANC, who had failed to register candidates in 93 municipalities across the country.
