Parliament is set to decide on whether to pass a law that would allow for the expropriation of land without compensation on Tuesday as the ad hoc committee on Section 25 of the Constitution's report will be before the National Assembly.

The matter was initially scheduled for November but was shelved ahead of the municipal elections. Political parties agreed to table it for adoption in December.

The committee drafted a bill that would amend the Constitution to allow expropriation without compensation.
