Just a few weeks before the Covid-19 vaccine will be administered to healthcare workers, provincial governments are continuing to present rollout strategies that are still thin on details.

Despite not giving out concrete plans on their strategies, Limpopo Premier Stan Mathabatha and Northern Cape Premier Dr Zamani Saul have ambitious plans on a smooth vaccine rollout.

This week, the country received their first million doses of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine, manufactured by the Serum Institute in India. The first people who will be vaccinated are healthcare workers in both the private and public sector.
