President Cyril Ramaphosa has accused the Section 89 panel that found he should face an impeachment inquiry over the Phala Phala saga of relying on the “say-so” of former spy boss Arthur Fraser in determining the impeachment case against him.
“Mr Fraser's allegations are just that: allegations, which are based on speculation, fiction and conjecture. They are not evidence,” Ramaphosa stated in a Constitutional Court application that he hoped would result in the panel report being set aside.
