Following the recent and much publicised death of Limpopo pupil, Lufuno Mavhunga - a bullied teen who committed suicide - another video has surfaced depicting an Eastern Cape pupil being attacked by a fellow pupil.

The video shows the Zwelodumo Senior Secondary School pupil being beaten and dragged across the ground by another pupil in full view of a cheering crowd, while two of her friends can be seen trying to stop the attack. The Eastern Cape Education Department said it's investigating the incident.

According to Khula Community Development Project (KCDP), a child rights advocacy group, the incident happened in March.
