More contradictions emerged in the Senzo Meyiwa trial between the police officers who first arrived at the crime scene on the evening that the former Orlando Pirates and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper was shot and killed.

As the criminal trial seeks to determine whether the accused are guilty of murder, the police's work on the case has inevitably been placed under the microscope.

So far, two police officers have testified in court, while the affidavit of a third was led during cross-examination.
