Some members of committee tasked with re-establishing ANC youth wing tainted, warns analyst

Some members of the committee tasked with re-establishing the ANC's youth wing have already participated in "dirty politics", which could complicate their task, an analyst has warned.

Barry Hanyane, professor in public administration at the North-West University, did not mention any names, but he questioned to what extent the task team would be immune to the problems created by previous task teams.

"Some members of the new task team have set themselves up to say, given the influence they have, they can surely manipulate branches," he said.
