Two Johannesburg business owners were less than pleased to receive a visit from City Power officials, followed by a media pack and Joburg metro officers, during a revenue collection junket.

City Power launched its three-day revenue collection effort on Tuesday in Region E, which includes Kew, Alexandra and Wynberg.

The bulk electricity supplier is owed R4 billion in unpaid electrical bills, and defaulting businesses in Region E owe the entity R363 million.
