He maintains his innocence, despite serving 27 years for the murder of Elroy van Rooyen. This is Part 1 in a series focusing on the man accused of being a child predator who murdered 22 children in less than a decade.

Ryno van Rooyen thinks of his cousin often – their animated chats as they walked to school, battling it out on the arcade game Street Fighter, and his innocent laughter as young Elroy would get a scolding for not listening to their gran.
