A 52-year-old man accused of running a child sex ring. A 54-year-old man convicted and sentenced for raping his niece. A police officer appearing in court for allegedly raping her own son.

It’s been another week where crimes against children have shocked the country.

Wayne van Onselen, the managing director of Unchain our Children, which combats all crime against children, said there had been a noticeable increase in sexual crimes, excessive violence and neglect against children.
