A teenager who said she worked at an alleged brothel in Cape Town has told the Western Cape High Court her uncle rescued her by pretending to be a client.

She testified in the human trafficking trial that by then she was already plotting her escape by exploring whether she could secretly book a room in a bed and breakfast.

She had been there with a client and asked the receptionist if it was possible to make bookings herself for sex work.
