Dr Mpho Pooe, the doctor who examined the mother of the decuplets, Gosiame Sithole, and found she had recently been pregnant, is being investigated by the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) for misrepresenting her qualifications. 

Pooe was this week touted as a specialist gynaecologist and obstetrician by Independent Media.
