Months after removing Eastern Cape Premier Oscar Mabuyane and former health MEC Sindiswa Gomba from its postgraduate programme, the University of Fort Hare has now deregistered another 15 public servants for not meeting admission requirements.

The deregistered officials, who were enrolled for the Honours in Public Administration course, work in the Eastern Cape provincial legislature and its departments as well as local municipalities.

Their exclusion is linked to a former professor of Public Sector Economics at Fort Hare, Professor Edwin Okey Chikata Ijeoma.
