Businesspeople in Knysna, located in the picturesque Southern Cape, are concerned that a second wave of Covid-19 and another lockdown could be the end of many enterprises, most of which largely rely on the tourism season to keep afloat.

Businesspeople in the tight-knit community were up in arms on Wednesday when News24 canvassed them on growing Covid-19 community transmissions in the Garden Route area and in Knysna.
