A witness appearing before the State Capture Inquiry on Friday stated that she collected arms and ammunition on the instruction of former top spy Thulani Dlomo.

Evidence leader Advocate Paul Pretorius put the following to the witness who went by the pseudonym, Dorothy*: "You talk of an occasion when you were asked to collect firearms from the Musanda [State Security Agency] SSA armoury. Who gave you that instruction?"

Dorothy responded: "I received a call from a colleague, which I cannot name for operational reasons, on the 28th of January 2015 that I need to come and collect arms and ammunition. I then called a late colleague of mine asking if it is indeed true that I have to collect arms at Musanda. He confirmed that yes, I am the one that needs to collect by instruction of Mr Thulani Dlomo".
