The Hendrina Magistrate's Court granted bail to former Eskom employee Thandeka Nkosi after her arrest for defrauding the power utility of R14.7 million.
Nkosi, 42, appeared in court for the first time on Friday, but the case was postponed to Wednesday for a bail hearing.
She was remanded in custody.
She appeared alongside her accomplices, mother and son, Rabela Sara Jones, 71, and Godfrey Jason Jones, 46.
The trio was charged with theft, fraud and money laundering.
The charges emanated from a tender for the supply and delivery of pumps at Arnot power station in 2015.
Engel Frost Investment was awarded the tender, which Nkosi allegedly facilitated.
The company submitted fraudulent documents and made off with R14.7 million, without rendering the services. The crimes were committed between March to April 2013.
Godfrey Jason Jones and a second son, who is still at large, were listed as company signatories.
Nkosi and Jason were released on R100 000 bail each, while Sara was granted R30 000 bail.
"Their case was postponed to 5 May 2023 for tracing of the fourth accused, who failed to appear in court, despite being informed.
A warrant of arrest was issued against him.
"The investigation continues," said Captain Sekgotodi Dineo Lucy.
