
More rain is expected over KwaZulu-Natal on Friday.
The South African Weather Service has issued a yellow level 4 warning for disruptive rain leading to the flooding of susceptible settlements - formal and informal - roads, low-lying areas, and bridges expected over the Ugu, eThekwini, and Ilembe districts in KwaZulu-Natal.
Similar conditions are expected over the Alfred Nzo district, OR Tambo district, and the Elundini local municipalities in the Eastern Cape.
A yellow level 2 warning for disruptive rain is also expected leading to localised over Gauteng, the eastern parts of both the North-West and Free State, the south-western Bushveld and south-western Highveld of Mpumalanga, and the western and central interior of KwaZulu-Natal.

Cloudy and cold conditions are expected in the western half of the Eastern Cape, with isolated showers. There will be scattered showers along the coast and adjacent interior.
The wind along the coast will be moderate to fresh south-westerly in the morning, otherwise moderate to fresh southerly, becoming light by evening.
The eastern half of the Eastern Cape will be cloudy and cold with scattered showers and thundershowers but widespread in the east.
The wind along the coast will be fresh to strong south-westerly.
KwaZulu-Natal will have morning fog over the interior, otherwise, it will be partly cloudy and warm, but cool in the southwest. It will become cloudy with scattered afternoon showers and thundershowers but isolated in the north.
The wind along the coast will be moderate northerly to north-easterly, becoming fresh to strong southerly to the south- westerly from the south in the afternoon, spreading north.
