The ANC's national executive committee (NEC) meets this weekend and it has two weighty Constitutional Court judgments, which affect the party and its leaders, to consider.

It has to take note of the judgment of acting Chief Justice Sisi Khampepe, which found former president Jacob Zuma guilty of contempt of court and sentenced him to 15 months in prison.

It must also apply its mind to a judgment delivered by Justice Chris Jafta on Thursday, which found that President Cyril Ramaphosa did not mislead Parliament and that he did not personally benefit from the CR17 campaign.
