“Intimidation tactics”, “attack on media freedom” and “abuse of court processes” are some of the responses to the charges brought against News24’s specialist legal writer Karyn Maughan and advocate Billy Downer by former president Jacob Zuma.
Summonses were served on Maughan and Downer, the lead prosecutor in Zuma's corruption case, on Tuesday morning for allegedly violating sections of the National Prosecuting Act.
