Justice Minister Ronald Lamola says a protocol to allow the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) to use donor funding to deal with cases flowing from the State Capture Inquiry should be ready by month end.
He said meetings were held in February to deliberate on how the funding would work.
"On 17 February 2022, the director-general (DG) of the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development approved the National Prosecuting Authority’s request to establish a multi-disciplinary task team to develop/review the draft terms of reference for the donor review committee prepared by the NPA," Lamola said.
