Despite abuse allegations, ANC provincial secretary Jacob Khawe believes branches will re-elect him because the party has not collapsed under his watch. 

Khawe has been back in his provincial secretary position for a month after he took special leave following revelations he allegedly abused his wife.

His wife, Nthabeleng, had made the allegations on social media, and since then, Khawe has quietly returned to his post without the ANC resolving his status and the allegations.
