Chief Justice Raymond Zondo has bemoaned the ANC's internal disciplinary processes and accountability systems, saying they were in shambles. He said this contributed to the growing culture of wrongdoing within the party, which enabled state capture.

This was contained in the much-anticipated final instalment of the state capture report, released by Zondo on Wednesday.

The Chief Justice lamented the ANC's non-existent internal disciplinary processes, particularly its step-aside policy.
