As the Black Lives Movement took hold across the world, following the death of George Floyd, sport that became the driving force for change within South African society, writes Baden Gillion.

For a wild variety of reasons, 2020 will go down as quite a remarkable year for sport.

Now, with that familiar end of year fatigue setting in, we can reflect on a year that has been challenging, but at the same time ground-breaking.
