SA is ready to showcase the best of its local talent and flair.

17. Robertson Rocks Leopardfalls Spring Festival

14 - 16 October is a massive weekend for the Roberston Wine Valley as this music festival runs over the same weekend as Wine on the River. Take the shuttles and visit BOTH festivals. Robertson Rocks will bring s some of SA's favourite rock bands such as Taxi Violence, Akkedis and Chris Ross Band.

One of the Durbanville Wine Valley calendar highlights is definitely Season of Sauvignon. The Valley is especially well known for their Sauvignon Blanc - in my opinion, the country's best Sauvignon Blancs hail from Durbanville. Come and decide for yourself at the Valley's 12 wine farms.

27. RMB WineX

46. Free State Flower Festival

A brand new flower festival will hit the Free State in 2016. You can expect exhibits, floats, music and dance items, but be sure to keep an eye on the festival Facebook page. Coinciding with the festival is the annual Free State Powerboat F2 Race.

50. Plett Wine and Bubbly Festival
