Cape Town – British Airways will be presenting a course in Johannesburg to help passengers face and overcome their fear of flying.
The course, called Flying with Confidence, will be hosted by Captain Steve Allright on the 15th of November this year, and will cost R4 500 per person.
The course has had a very good success rate, with over 98% of course attendees successfully overcoming their fear of flight. These passengers have testified on their course experiences on the Flying with Confidence website.
Once completed, course-goers will also qualify to receive a 10% discount on all British Airways flights.
Captain Allright explains that the Flying with Confidence course aim to educate flyers about the physics and technical aspects of flying, as well as the psychological reactions that creates the phobias within scared flyers. The course then aims to deal with these issues in order to manage the fear better, and even completely overcome their aerophobia.
The course has had much success in the past 25 years that it has been given, and the organisers believe it will be valuable to South Africa fear-ridden flyers, too.
