London – If you work as an airport security officer at Heathrow, you can never be too careful, which means that even tiny toy guns should be confiscated.
Huffington Post reports that John Hazen almost got the shock of his life when a security guard at London’s largest airport pulled him aside after something odd showed up in the hand luggage scan.
Much to Hazen’s surprise, the security officer hauled his Woody (the cowboy from Toy Story) figurine out of his luggage and proceeded to confiscate the plastic figurine’s tiny toy gun.
Highly amused, Hazen snapped a picture of Woody’s pat down and then shared the image on Reddit, with the caption, "security just confiscated his 'weapon,' keep the world safe boys..."
Apparently the security officer may have been more clued up than you might think, as it turns out that these Woody figurines don’t actually come standard with a toy gun.
Hazen told Huffington Post that it was an addition courtesy of his family.
And now we know what you’re wondering: how old is this Hazen and why does he travel with a Woody figurine in his bag?
Actually Hazen travels a lot for work and has developed a little tradition for his son, where he sets up and photographs a scene every night featuring Woody.
