UK steps out to clap for Covid-19 frontline workers in UK and around the world

Standing at 11658 cases, the United Kingdom now ranks 9th in the world in terms of diagnosed coronavirus cases. Today, the United States surpassed China with the most diagnosed cases in the world with 85594, according to WorldOMeter.info.

At 8 pm on Thursday, 26 March, millions of Britons stood at their front doors or balconies to raise a thunder of thanks for NHS and others working day and night to bring this pandemic to its knees. Currently, in lockdown, Britons followed the lead of other countries like France and Spain who thanked coronavirus frontline workers from their homes by clapping in thanks.
