WATCH: Brazen Joburg jewellery heist caught on CCTV

Footage of a brazen jewellery heist at the Coachman’s Crossing shopping centre in Bryanston, Johannesburg, has been caught on camera.

Jeweller Andreas Salver spoke to Netwerk24 about the chilling incident.

He said he initally circulated the footage to on his social media channels in an attempt to have the perpetrators arrested.

The footage shows staff being rounded up by perpetrators as they ransack the store.

Salver says the crime will result in a big financial knock for the business; just one of the stolen items cost around R400 000.
