A South African entrepreneur has opened a hotel specially for four-footed guests. Yanic Klue transformed a vacant building that once housed a Cape Town nightclub into a dog hotel, complete with luxury suites and a spa.

The hotel's doors opened in late 2015 and Klue says the first month was frantic with people booking in dogs over the festive season. Each of the Platinum suites is decorated according to theme. There is the Hollywoof suite, K9 Nkandla and Dogwald Trump.

Furry hotel guests enjoy duck down duvets, satellite television and even Skype calls with their owners. The facility includes a play area and city tours (or walks) for a fee. Klue has plans of introducing reiki and acupuncture for her clients.
