"Death has robbed us of our loved ones," Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi said to a packed community hall in Sokhulumi, Gauteng north.
He was speaking at the memorial service for the 18 pupils who died in the R25 horror accident on April 21.
Several school principals and learners from both Refano Primary School and Mahlenga High School and surrounds attended the memorial.
