Customers at Fairpark liquor store in Grassy Park were caught in the middle of an armed robbery on Saturday evening.
In a CCTV video doing the rounds on social media, it looks like business as usual before a group of five armed robbers storm into the shop.
Two robbers can be seen jumping on, and over, the counter to get to the till, while the others close the shop's doors.
Customers and staff were forced to lie on the floor as the robbers emptied tills.
The group were in and out in under three minutes.
Western Cape police spokesperson, Sergeant Noloyiso Rwexana, confirmed to News24 that a case of business robbery had been opened.
"Five armed suspects entered the store and robbed it of an undisclosed amount of money. Police detectives are following up on leads in order to arrest the suspects," Rwexana said.
The shop owners declined to comment on the incident.
