Police have launched a search for five armed suspects who hijacked and kidnapped two brothers in Boksburg North on Saturday evening.

The brothers were driving a blue BMW 320D.

The incident, which was caught on camera, reportedly happened at 19:50 in Williams Road, Beyers Park.

Video footage shows one of the brothers standing in a yard when a group of men enter the property. The suspects then force both men into their BMW before driving away.

"The suspects, who are said to be driving a VW Touareg, also took the victims' cellphones and an undisclosed amount of cash," Captain Mavela Masondo said in a statement.

The victims were dropped off in Tsakane, Ekurhuleni.

"Police are looking for the suspects who are still at large," Masondo added.
