Screenshots of CCTV footage have emerged of Western Cape detective Charl Kinnear's last moments.
The high-profile investigator was killed outside his Bishop Lavis home in Cape Town on Friday, 18 September.
The screenshots, published by Netwerk24, show a man in a red hoodie and Adidas sweatpants loitering in the area before making his way down Gearing Street where Kinnear lived.
Some of the images were taken from footage captured by Kinnear's own security cameras.
A week after Kinnear's murder, 39-year-old former professional rugby player Zane Kilian was arrested and he appeared in the Bishop Lavis Magistrate's Court.
Kilian was charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, and illegal interception of communications.
He is scheduled to appear in court again on 5 October.
