Watch as one brave G4S driver goes toe to toe with would be cash-in-transit robbers in Vryburg. (Oct, 2017)
Never before seen footage of a G4S Cash Solutions vehicle first ramming a group of robbers, then driving in circles around them has surfaced on social media.
In the video the assailants are seen firing at the vehicle.
G4S confirmed that the security officer in question was attacked on October 21, 2017 while performing a cash collection service in Naledi, Vryburg.
According to a statement the officer was attacked while leaving a customer’s premises.
One of their security officers sustained minor injuries during the attack.
Despite the heroic efforts robbers fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
