ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the keynote address at the 86th birthday celebration for Winnie Madikizela-Mandela in Soweto on Monday.

The ANC is hosting the event to honour and celebrate the "freedom fighter and mother of our nation".

Madikizela-Mandela died at the Netcare Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg on 2 April 2018 at the age of 81.
