WATCH: Motorbike thieves in Roodepoort caught on camera

Early on Monday morning two suspects stole a pair of off-road motorcycles in Witpoortjie in the West of Johannesburg. The incident was caught on the resident's CCTV camera. Watch.

According to the Roodepoort Record, there has been an epidemic of motorcycle theft in the area, and on a previous occasion as many as four motorcycles a week were being stolen in the precinct.

On this particular occasion, a resident of Rutter Street discovered that his two off-road motorcycles had been stolen. CCTV footage showed the crime had taken place around 2h45.

The suspects went into the neighbour’s yard, broke through a precast wall and accessed the victim’s yard. They then pushed the two motorcycles down the road.
