2 arrested for human trafficking after 39 found dead in truck

Two people were on arrested on Friday on suspicion of human trafficking following the deaths of 39 people found in a truck in Essex on Wednesday.

A 38-year old man and woman were detained on suspicion of conspiracy to traffic people and of 39 counts of manslaughter.

British police said they believe the victims were Chinese.
