A newly released video shows how a US police officer clung on to the roof of a suspect’s car as the guy tries to speed away from police.
According to KCCI, it started as a traffic stop in Carroll, Iowa, but officers quickly realised there was a warrant out for the suspect's arrest.
The police officer stepped in front of the car as the driver, Dennis Guider Jr., tried to flee and had to grab onto the roof of the vehicle, before being flung off into a ditch a minute later.
Guider pleaded guilty in March 2023, two years after the initial chase.
